 green
it is the color of the forest, wide and beautiful among the dusky winds of tomorrow. It is in the shifting waves of the Maldives' sea, glorious in magnificent waves and peaceful lagoons. It shines in the scales of a brilliantly colored lizard as it scuttles across the ground, beady black eyes trained on the horizon. It is the color of the leaves in springtime and the stalks of flowers, both peaceful and utterly beautiful in the predawn aura. The lingering smell of the pine needles, scattered across the alpines. The color etched in my four walls, a mixture of lights and darks; shades and tones. Refreshing and relaxing in its very essence. It is the color of flecked eyes of quiet passion and reflective calmness. Of bubbling acid, hissing and steaming as it devours wood hungrily. The glimmer of my cousin's glitter pens as they skate lines across paper, forming letters and creating words. It is the color of relaxation, of peace and clarity–of home.
