Salutations, greetings, hello.

Bonjour, hola, namaste.

There are so many greetings in the world, so many forms of hello and hi; the simple foundation of everyday conversation. A mild greeting expressed in millions of ways. Such a simple phrase is so incredibly diverse.

This is the power of language, the power of words both fleeting and subtle albeit powerful and obtrusive. Words can meld themselves into many different shapes and forms, be it the position of an enraged rant or a flowing melody that recalls the safety of childhood.

I aspire to be a writer. It is my dream, one of my most passionate pursuits. I love words, I love to write. To me, writing is a constantly evolving art form; something to be marveled at but also to be enjoyed, to be loved and nurtured.

Writing can take you to so many different places through its ink kissed pages. Be it a world filled with blue-skinned, fire breathing frogs or pale three legged monkeys I would bet that a book would have it. Writing is the cheapest form of travel and perhaps one of the most engaging.

I want to be one of those wordsmiths who give flight to my readers into my worlds. I want to set them into my places crafted by words and to let the language wash over them, let their minds take them to wonderful places they could experiment through the beloved art form.
